First Version of AiSR was using only 16bits CPU technology and due to it’s SPI Flash memory structure wouldn’t allow us to Extract Row Wave Files.
We have realized that some data cannot be processed by any software and therefore must be extracted into Wave File to allow user to manually decide bits value.
We have replaced old 16bits CPU by latest Cortex™ 32Bits Technology, and 64M-Bits SPI Flash that allows to save data as wave analogue file which allows the new AiSR009 unlimited performance in terms of speed.
Brief introduction of “level of Amplifications”:
ASR and must of sound recorders out there only describe 6 levels of amplification.
6 Level of amplification discription:
As shown in Picture ASR doesn’t take in consideration any sound between level: 0-50-100-150 which means all sound at 10-20-30-40 or 60-70-80-90 or 110-120-130-140 IS NOT PROCESSED and data cannot be recognized which will result in must cases in a “FLAT LINE” with any sound Editor.
Only 6 Levels of amplification are considered: level 50,100,150. and -50, -100, -150. 6 levels of amplification in TOTAL
AiSR009 16 level of amplification:
AiSR will show all levels 0,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80 and -10,-20,-30,-40,-50,-60,- 70, -80 Total 16 levels of amplifications.
Conclusion where you would normally see a flat line for or extremely low peak at level 30 of amplification for example, AiSR will show you a peak.
This process of amplification will allow much easier recognition of bits but will result in much bigger files size obviously. That’s why we had to upgrade memory to 64Bits SPI Flash.Click Here to Read About Analog Vs Digital Sound at this link Conversion /decoding into ASCII Text of the output wave files now has been highly improved and we have now given user the possibility to manually modify “0”s and “1”s bits manually Our Software algorithm has been calculated in a way that the minimum data would be lost but since some wave length complexity is sometimes such that only an expert human eye could make difference between bits. Therefore we have left user free will to judge and modify by himself what seems the best fitting bit.
